However, amendments to the ROA 1974 (Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020)) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are 'protected'. These are not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be considered. Short-listed candidates will be asked to complete a criminal record self-disclosure form to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered or protected, to be returned to the school prior to the date of the interview. You may be asked for further information about your criminal history during the recruitment process. If your application is successful, this criminal record self-disclosure information will be checked against information from the Disclosure & Barring Service before your appointment is confirmed.
In addition to the above, the school reserves the right to carry out an online search on short-listed candidates. This will only include a search for information which is publicly available online.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week (8.00-16.00), term-time only
About the Role
Provide high-quality administrative, clerical, and organisational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Support Co-Headteachers, staff, pupils, parents, and governors.
Uphold the school’s Catholic ethos and values in all aspects of the role.

Finance Officer
Location: St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School, Cleator Moor
Hours: 20 hours per week, Term Time Only (Working hours negotiable)
Salary: P12 £28,598 (FTE)/ Actual Salary £13,126
St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School is seeking a motivated, highly organised and detail-focused Finance Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team. This role is essential in helping us use our resources wisely and responsibly so that we can fulfil our mission: “Together we are growing in God’s love.”
About the Role
Reporting to the Office Manager and Co-Headteachers, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance across all financial processes.
