Year 2 Curriculum Overview
Homework
- Homework is given out on a Wednesday and should be returned the following Monday. It should be completed in your homework book.
- Homework will consist of a weekly spelling task on Spelling Frame, a reading task and a maths task.
- All children have login details for Spelling Frame and Active Learn Maths at the front of their homework books.
- Homework supports our learning in school and must be completed so that children in Year Two are not at a disadvantage.
Reading
Reading every night at home is vital for learning in Year Two. Children who read four times a week at home achieve 'Fab 4'' and will receive a treat.
Reading books and book bags need to be brought into school every day.
General Information
P.E. days change each half term. Please ensure all P.E. kits are in school each week. Please note P.E. might be outside, so please provide trainers, black shorts, plain white top and warm clothes for outdoor P.E.
