Below you will find the Year 3 Curriculum overview.
Homework
Homework is given out on a Wednesday and needs to be returned to school on the following Monday.
- You will receive one reading/comprehension task, online power maths games, your spellings on spelling frame and times table rockstars.
- All homework should be completed to the same standard as school work - use a pencil, ruler and rubber if you make a mistake.
- If you need any support with your homework or lose your sheets please speak to your class teacher before Monday.

General information
- P.E days alternate each half-term. Please ensure all P.E kits are in each week. Children are welcome to bring longer jogging pants for the colder months.
Learning in Action
Nature School
This half term Year Three have enjoyed being in the Nature area, Each week we have taken on a theme for our learning and completed different activities connected to this. The children have enjoyed working in small groups and being outside with their friends, we have learnt about plants, made miniature secret gardens, explored, enjoyed crafts and ended each session with singing or storytelling.
English
The children have really enjoyed 'The Secret Garden'. For our final piece of writing we are being reporters and writing a newspaper report. For this the children have been developing their oracy skills and have been interviewing each other as the main characters in the story. Fabulous work Year Three!
